Trend Micro OfficeScan 8 hotfix 3367 & 3399 uses behavior monitoring to detect FakeAV software. This feature is only supported on 32-bit platforms and must first apply OfficeScan 8 Service Pack 1 Patch 1 or higher.
Trend recommends that you apply this hotfix on your OSCE 8 server to increase protection against Fake AV malware.
Follow these steps :
1. Ensure OSCE 8 is at Service Pack1 Patch 1 or higher.
2. Install Hotfix 3367
(OSCE_8.0_SP1_Patch1_WIN_EN_HFB3367.exe)
3. Refer to the readme file (Readme_HFB3367.txt) for the
post-installation instruction (section 6.2)
4. Install
Hotfix 3399 (OSCE_8.0_SP1_Patch1_WIN_EN_HFB3399.1.exe)
