Cisco IronPort is currently experiencing intermediate issues with the download servers. This issue currently affects all downloads, including antispam and virus updates, as well as AsyncOS downloads. Cisco Ironport is actively working to resolve this issue. In the mean time, both antispam and antivirus functionality on your appliance is not affected, as this issue is only related to updated pattern downloads.

Update 23/08/2011 - 13.30: The issue with the Cisco Ironport update servers has been solved since 2 am PDT (UTC-7). CASE update unsuccessful errors, Sophos transfer errors and updater errors should not occur anymore. The services can be checked on the GUI under "Security Services - Sophos" or "Security Services - IronPort Anti-Spam". Based on the update interval services should be updated.
