SecureLink distinguishes two types of VPNs. Remote access VPNs which are typically based on SSL and LAN-to-LAN type VPNs which are typically based on IPsec.
Juniper Networks offers solutions for both type of VPNs. The Secure Access products are leading-edge SSL VPN gateways with support for extensive authentication options based on e.g. RSA strong authentication or certificates.
The SSL VPN gateway solutions offer a lot of flexibility in providing anywhere, anytime acess to corporate resources whether you are connecting with your own PC or from a PC in an Internet cafe.
For LAN-to-LAN connections Juniper Networks offers very flexible and scalable solutions via the integrated firewall/VPN appliances. Redundant VPN networks can be created via the built-in support for dynamic routing. VPNs can also be created in combination with ADSL or cable modem Internet connections which offers often a very price attractive alternative.
Frank Staut has written a detailed white paper on how to build highly redundant IP VPN networks. This white paper can be downloaded here.
