SecureLink receives the security order for Rijksdienst voor Pensioenen (RVP).
The content of the deal was focused around the renewal and expansion of the security solutions in the Network of RVP. The RVP considers the network security and performance as one of the most important parameters of everyday business. SecureLink was the most performant and best placed candidate to execute this very delicate and rather large implementation.
All parts of the entire solution needed to be performant and easy to scale and to manage. That is why SecureLink designed a secure environment with a.o. a service that permits the employees to connect to corporate resources in a secure way, with excellent reporting features. Furthermore SecureLink implemented a new firewall series with integration of Intrusion Detection & Prevention features. And above that security layer an integrated system was installed to increase the ease of management and deployment.
To protect the RVP webservers from any undesired traffic or attacks a new Web Application Firewall was put in place. Email traffic, and more specific spam protection, is now handled by an exceptional performant and secure solution. To enhance the internet experience for the end users SecureLink installed a new proxy appliance and to simultaneously protect these end users the proxy was equipped with an integrated URL filter. And to top off these security measures users are now logging into their clients with the use of strong authentication one time password keyfobs.
SecureLink proposed solutions from Juniper, Blue Coat, IronPort, F5 and RSA in a redundant setup at the main site.
